From my perspective, this is how manners should be taught It is about the pragmatic working our of cultural values of kindness that we extend amongst ourselves in a way to keep from hurting people, offending or insulting them by our behavior Just a perfect book for young and older teens but the lessons could be extrapolated by the parents for younger children I didn t do a single one of the role plays but I m sure kids would have fun doing them in a class setting with a church or school It is not comprehensive in the Emily Post way of outlining manners, but has the same result shoring up our relationships and making people feel welcomed and wanted in our social group.
